High Frequency Words: would, fire Review all words previously learned (refer to the HF word sheet I sent home)
Sounds/Spellings: Review Long and Short I sounds, spellings, and rules. For extra practice at home have the students write words using the spellings for each sound (Long a: i _igh i_e _y _ie) For short i: Focus on words ending in _dge, _ck (these spellings only come after short vowel sounds)
